  WB analysis of U2OS using 84953-4-RR (same clone as 84953-4-PBS)

  U2OS cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 84953-4-RR (CSTA antibody) at dilution of 1:3000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84953-4-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 84953-4-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 84953-4-RR against Human Cystatin A were performed. The affinity constant is 0.286 nM.

Informations générales

Cystatin A (CSTA) is a member of the cystatin superfamily, which are thiol proteinase inhibitors (TPI) that play crucial roles in regulating proteolytic activity. It is a small protein composed of 98 amino acids with a molecular weight of approximately 11 kDa. CSTA is primarily expressed in epithelial tissues, such as the skin and esophagus, where it serves as a precursor protein for the cornified cell envelope in keratinocytes.
