  WB analysis using 17100-1-AP (same clone as 17100-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 17100-1-AP (DGAT2 antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 17100-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

Diacylglycerol acyltransferase 2 (DGAT2) is an integral membrane protein and major enzyme that catalyzes the final step of triacylglycerol (TG) synthesis in eukaryotes (PMID: 21680734). DGAT2 is present in mitochondria-associated membranes, specialized domains of the ER that are highly enriched in lipid synthetic enzymes (PMID: 19049983). DGAT2 isoforms (39 kDa, 44kDa) have major differences in acyl-CoA substrate specificity toward erucoyl-CoA.
