  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 32634-1-AP (DSCAML1 antibody) at dilution of 1:1500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 32634-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

Down syndrome cell adhesion molecule-like protein 1 (DSCAML1) is a transmembrane protein with ten immunoglobulin (Ig) and six fibronectin type III domains (PMID: 11453658). It is involved in neuronal cell adhesion and plays a crucial role in the development and function of the nervous system. DSCAML1 has been shown to participate in neuronal tiling, avoidance of neurite fasciculation, and axon guidance (PMID: 18216855; 21029858). Additionally, DSCAML1 is required for the proper placement of GABAergic neurons in the entorhinal cortex (ECx) and suppression of seizure susceptibility in rodents (PMID: 33256836).
