Informations générales

DZIP3/hRUL138 is a poorly characterized RNA-binding RING E3-ubiquitin ligase with functions in embryonic development. DZIP3 localizes in both the nucleus and cytoplasm (PMID: 33067265). DZIP3 was mainly reported to be an RNA-binding ligase that causes histone H2A monoubiquitination, which represses transcription. DZIP3 also regulates the differentiation of stem cells (PMID: 32796072).
