  FC experiment of HT-29 using 98303-5-RR (same clone as 98303-5-PBS)

  1x10^6 HT-29 cells (left) or HeLa cells (right) were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human EPCAM/CD326 Rabbit RecAb (98303-5-RR, Clone: 250626C6) (red) or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue), and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98303-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98303-5-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98303-5-RR against Human EPCAM/CD326 were performed. The affinity constant is 14.4 nM.

Informations générales

Epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM, CD326) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that functions as a homophilic, epithelial-specific intercellular cell-adhesion molecule. In addition to cell adhesion, EpCAM is also involved in cellular signaling, cell migration, proliferation, and differentiation. EpCAM is highly expressed on most carcinomas and therefore of potential use as a diagnostic and prognostic marker for a variety of carcinomas, and has become a therapeutic target.
