  WB analysis using 16197-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 16197-1-AP (FRK antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  FC experiment of HepG2 using 16197-1-AP

  1X10^6 HepG2 cells were stained with 0.2ug FRK antibody (16197-1-AP, red) and control antibody (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100. Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) with dilution 1:1500.

Informations générales

The fyn-related kinase (FRK) belongs to the tyrosine kinase family of protein kinases and is also named as PTK5(protein-tyrosine kinase 5), RAK(Nuclear tyrosine protein kinase). The Frk is a tyrosine kinase expressed in various tissues, such as the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatic islet cells. It affects pancreatic beta cell number during embryogenesis and promotes beta cell cytotoxic signals in response to streptozotocin(PMID:20157399). It may function as a tumor suppressor(PMID:19345329).
