  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 68512-1-Ig (IGFBP5 antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 68512-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

IGFBP5, also named as IBP5, prolong the half-life of the IGFs and have been shown to either inhibit or stimulate the growth promoting effects of the IGFs on cell culture. It alter the interaction of IGFs with their cell surface receptors. This antibody is specific to IGFBP5.
