  WB analysis using 14153-1-AP (same clone as 14153-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 14153-1-AP (IL-18BP antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 14153-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

IL18BP, also named as adekinig-alfa, has 3 isoforms (Isoform A 21kd; B 12kd and D 17kd). Isoform A binds to IL-18 and inhibits its activity. IL18BP functions as an inhibitor of the early TH1 cytokine response. Highly glycosylated of IL18BP will migrate to be 40kd. A 58kd protein is IL18BP crosslinked IL18.
