  WB analysis of Jurkat using 66142-1-Ig (same clone as 66142-1-PBS)

  Jurkat cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 66142-1-Ig (IL-4 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 66142-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of Ramos using 66142-1-Ig (same clone as 66142-1-PBS)

  1X10^6 Ramos cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug Anti-Human IL-4 (66142-1-Ig, Clone:1G2C5) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) at dilution 1:1000 (red), or 0.4 ug Mouse IgG2a Isotype Control (66360-2-Ig, Clone: K11A1B2A2) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). Informations générales

IL4 is a cytokine produced by CD4+ T cells in response to helminthes and other extracellular parasites. It promotes the proliferation and differentiation of antigen presenting cells. IL4 also plays a pivotal role in antibody isotype switching and stimulates the production of IgE. This cytokine has been applied in the treatment of autoimmune disorder like multiple myeloma, cancer, psoriasis, and arthritis. IL4 has also been extensively applied to inhibit detrimental effect of Th1. It may promote the growth of epithelial tumors by mediating increased proliferation and survival.
