  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 12193-1-AP (ITM2B antibody) at dilution of 1:500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 12193-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

ITM2B plays a regulatory role in the processing of the amyloid-beta A4 precursor protein (APP) and acts as an inhibitor of the amyloid-beta peptide aggregation and fibrils deposition. It plays a role in the induction of neurite outgrowth and functions as a protease inhibitor by blocking access of secretases to APP cleavage sites.
