  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 30222-1-AP (LCMT1 antibody) at dilution of 1:1500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 30222-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

Leucine carboxyl methyltransferase 1 (LCMT1) belongs to the methyltransferase superfamily (LCMT family). It methylates the carboxyl group of the C-terminal leucine residue of protein phosphatase 2A catalytic subunits to form alpha-leucine ester residues. LCMT1 has 3 isoforms with the MW of 38 kDa, 41 kDa, and 32 kDa.
