  WB analysis using 86291-2-RR (same clone as 86291-2-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 86291-2-RR (LONP2 antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 86291-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 86291-2-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 86291-2-RR against Human LONP2 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.636 nM.

LONP2 (Lon Peptidase 2, Peroxisomal) is an important ATP-dependent protease. It is primarily located in peroxisomes and is responsible for maintaining the proteostasis of this organelle. By degrading misfolded proteins and selectively regulating metabolic enzymes, LONP2 plays a central role in maintaining peroxisomal proteostasis and metabolic balance. Dysfunction of LONP2 is closely related to a variety of human diseases, including peroxisomal disorders, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases.
