  WB analysis using 15291-1-AP (same clone as 15291-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 15291-1-AP (MCOLN1 antibody) at dilution of 1:500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 15291-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IHC staining of mouse brain using 15291-1-AP (same clone as 15291-1-PBS)

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue slide using 15291-1-AP (MCOLN1 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 40x lens). Informations générales

MCOLN1, also named MLIV, ML4, MG-2, and Mucolipidin, belongs to the transient receptor (TC 1.A.4) family, Polycystin subfamily, and MCOLN1 sub-subfamily. It is playing a role in the endocytic pathway and in the control of membrane trafficking of proteins and lipids. MCOLN1 may play a major role in Ca2+ transport regulating lysosomal exocytosis. It is an autosomal recessive lysosomal storage disorder characterized by severe psychomotor retardation and ophthalmologic abnormalities, including corneal opacity, retinal degeneration, and strabismus.
