  WB analysis using 68307-1-Ig (same clone as 68307-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 68307-1-Ig (MED23 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 68307-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

MED23 is a component of the Mediator complex, it is a coactivator involved in the regulated transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. Mediator functions as a bridge to convey information from gene-specific regulatory proteins to the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery. Mediator is recruited to promoters by direct interactions with regulatory proteins and serves as a scaffold for the assembly of a functional pre-initiation complex with RNA polymerase II and the general transcription factors.
