MPP4 (Membrane protein palmitoylated 4), also named as DLG6, belongs to the MAGUK family which interact with the cytoskeleton and regulate cell proliferation, signaling pathways, and intracellular junctions. MPP4 is a retina-specific scaffolding protein hat plays an important role in signal transmission at the photoreceptor synapse (PMID: 18955048).
