  WB analysis of SH-SY5Y using 20040-1-AP (same clone as 20040-1-PBS)

  SH-SY5Y cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 20040-1-AP (MPRIP antibody) at dilution of 1:800 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 20040-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

MPRIP, also named as KIAA0864, MRIP, RHOIP3 and p116Rip, is required for the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton by RhoA and ROCK1. MRPIP targets myosin phosphatase to the actin cytoskeleton. Depletion leads to an increased number of stress fibers in smooth muscle cells through stabilization of actin fibers by phosphorylated myosin. Overexpression of MRIP as well as its F-actin-binding region leads to disassembly of stress fibers in neuronal cells. The antibody recognizes the C-term of isoform2 and isoform3 of MPRIP.
