  WB analysis using 86033-1-RR (same clone as 86033-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 86033-1-RR (MPRIP antibody) at dilution of 1:3000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 86033-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IF Staining of mouse brain using 86033-1-RR (same clone as 86033-1-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue using MPRIP antibody (86033-1-RR, Clone: 250643B2 ) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 86033-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

MPRIP, also named as KIAA0864, MRIP, RHOIP3 and p116Rip, is required for the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton by RhoA and ROCK1. MRPIP targets myosin phosphatase to the actin cytoskeleton. Depletion leads to an increased number of stress fibers in smooth muscle cells through stabilization of actin fibers by phosphorylated myosin. Overexpression of MRIP as well as its F-actin-binding region leads to disassembly of stress fibers in neuronal cells. The antibody recognizes the C-term of isoform2 and isoform3 of MPRIP.
