  WB analysis of HT-1080 using 19916-1-AP (same clone as 19916-1-PBS)

  HT-1080 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 19916-1-AP (MRI1 antibody) at dilution of 1:500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 19916-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

MRI1 is also named as MRDI and belongs to the eIF-2B alpha/beta/delta subunits family. MRI1 promotes cell invasion in response to constitutive RhoA activation by promoting FAK tyrosine phosphorylation (PMID:19620624). MRDI acts as a methylthioribose-1-phosphate (MTR-1-P) isomerase, catalyzing a critical step in methionine salvage. Second, MRDI promotes and is necessary for melanoma cell invasion, independent of its catalytic activity (PMID:23859498).
