  WB analysis using 13278-1-AP (same clone as 13278-1-PBS)

  Untreated and IFN beta treated THP-1 cell lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 13278-1-AP (MX2 antibody) at dilution of 1:3000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 13278-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human stomach tissue slide using 13278-1-AP (MX2 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 20x lens). Informations générales

Myxovirus resistance 2 (MX2, also known as MxB) is a member of both the dynamin family and the family of large GTPases. MX2 is an interferon-stimulated gene that inhibits the nuclear import of HIV-1 and interacts with the viral capsid and cellular nuclear transport machinery. MX2 mediates the effects of IFN signaling in a cell type and context-dependent manner that can influence cells sensitivity to MAPK pathway targeted therapies. MX2 is also associated with the tumorigenesis process in melanoma(PMID: 33734579).
