  FC experiment of mouse peripheral blood platelets using 98302-2-RR (same clone as 98302-2-PBS)

  1x10^6 Thrombin treated mouse peripheral blood platelets were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse P-Selectin/CD62P Rabbit RecAb (98302-2-RR, Clone: 240766F5) (red) or Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue), and PE-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG. Untreated mouse peripheral blood platelets were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse P-Selectin/CD62P Rabbit RecAb (98302-2-RR, Clone: 240766F5) and PE-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (black, dashed). Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98302-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

P-selectin, also known as GMP140 or CD62P, is a transmembrane glycoprotein that mediates the interaction of activated endothelial cells or platelets with leukocytes. It is an adhesion molecule involved in the pathogenesis of inflammation, thrombosis, and oncogenesis. P-selectin is stored in the alpha-granules of platelets and Weibel-Palade bodies of endothelial cells. Upon cell activation by agonists, P-selectin is transported rapidly to the cell surface.
