  WB analysis using 60322-1-Ig (same clone as 60322-1-PBS)

  Untreated and PNGase F-treated lysates of human platelets were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 60322-1-Ig (P-selectin / CD62P antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. PNGase F was obtained from Atagenix (cat.NO. ata808). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 60322-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

P-selectin, also known as GMP140 or CD62P, is a transmembrane glycoprotein that mediates the interaction of activated endothelial cells or platelets with leukocytes. It is an adhesion molecule involved in the pathogenesis of inflammation, thrombosis, and oncogenesis. P-selectin is stored in the alpha-granules of platelets and Weibel-Palade bodies of endothelial cells. Upon cell activation by agonists, P-selectin is transported rapidly to the cell surface.
