  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 84383-2-RR (PDGFRA antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84383-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 84383-2-RR

Platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFRA, also known as CD140a) is a cell surface tyrosine kinase receptor for members of the platelet-derived growth factor family. PDGFRA is implicated in the regulation of embryonic development, tumorigenesis, cell proliferation, survival, and chemotaxis. Mutations in the PDGFRA gene have been associated with idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome, somatic and familial gastrointestinal stromal tumors, and a variety of other cancers.
