  FC experiment of A549 using 84730-5-RR (same clone as 84730-5-PBS)

  1x10^6 A549 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug PER1 Recombinant antibody (84730-5-RR, Clone:242096E3) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84730-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 84730-5-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 84730-5-RR against Human PER1 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.802 nM.

Informations générales

PER1 is a master regulator of circadian rhythm and functions in the nucleus to repress expression of the central circadian clock genes. The periodicity of PER1 abundance, nuclear translocation, and transcriptional repression is regulated by PER1 phosphorylation, ubiquitination, and proteasomal degradation [PMID: 21514639]. It is one component of the circadian clock mechanism which is essential for generating circadian rhythms. It can influences clock function by interacting with other circadian regulatory proteins and transporting them to the nucleus [PMID: 9856465, 20930143].
