  WB analysis of COS-7 using 84357-1-RR (same clone as 84357-1-PBS)

  COS-7 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 84357-1-RR (POLR2A antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84357-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IHC staining of mouse pancreas using 84357-1-RR (same clone as 84357-1-PBS)

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse pancreas tissue slide using 84357-1-RR (POLR2A antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 40x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84357-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IF Staining of HepG2 using 84357-1-RR (same clone as 84357-1-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed HepG2 cells using POLR2A antibody (84357-1-RR, Clone: 240869E9 ) at dilution of 1:250 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2), CL594-Phalloidin (red). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84357-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  ChIP experiment of HeLa using 84357-1-RR (same clone as 84357-1-PBS)

  Chromatin was prepared from HeLa cells. Cells were fixed with formaldehyde for 10 minutes. The ChIP was performed with 20 µg of cross-linked chromatin, 5 µg of POLR2A (84357-1-RR) or 5 ug of Normal Rabbit IgG (98136-1-RR), and 20 µl of Protein A Magarose Beads. The immunoprecipitated DNA was quantified by real-time PCR. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84357-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit RPB1(POLR2A), is part of the core element of the basic RNA polymerase II transcription mechanism. During transcription elongation, Pol II moves on the template as the transcript elongates. Elongation is influenced by the phosphorylation status of the C-terminal domain (CTD) of Pol II largest subunit (RPB1), which serves as a platform for the assembly of factors that regulate transcription initiation, elongation, termination, and mRNA processing.
