  WB analysis of HeLa using 18998-1-AP

  HeLa cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 18998-1-AP (BRN2-Specific antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  WB analysis of HEK-293 using 18998-1-AP

  HEK-293 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 18998-1-AP (BRN2-Specific antibody) at dilution of 1:300 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  1X10^6 HEK-293 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug Anti-Human BRN2-Specific (18998-1-AP) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) at dilution 1:1000 (red), or 0.4 ug Control Antibody. Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011).

Informations générales

POU3F2 belongs to a large family of transcription factors that bind to the octameric DNA sequence ATGCAAAT. It shares a highly homologous region that referred to as the POU domain. POU3F2 is a Class III POU genes that expressed predominantly in the central nervous system (CNS). It is likely that CNS-specific transcription factors such as these play an important role in mammalian neurogenesis by regulating their diverse patterns of gene expression. POU3F2 is required for maintaining neural cell differetiation and has a role in the production and positioning of neocortical neurons.
