  WB analysis using 68488-1-Ig

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 68488-1-Ig (PYCR2 antibody) at dilution of 1:20000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and reblotted with HRP-conjugated Alpha Tubulin Monoclonal antibody (HRP-66031) as loading control.

PYCR2, also named as P5CR2, belongs to the pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase family. It catalyses the reaction: L-proline + NAD(P)+ = 1-pyrroline-5-carboxylate + NAD(P)H. This antibody may have cross reaction to PYCR1 due to the high homology.
