  WB analysis of A172 using 82816-4-RR (same clone as 82816-4-PBS)

  Non-treated A172 cells and pervanadate treated A172 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 82816-4-RR (Phospho-AXL (Tyr779) antibody) at dilution of 1:3000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and re-blotted with Alpha Tubulin (66031-1-Ig) antibody as a loading control. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 82816-4-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

Axl, also known as Ufo or Ark, is a receptor tyrosine kinase of the TAM (Tyro3, Axl and Mer) family. Phospho-AXL (Tyr779) refers to the phosphorylated form of the receptor tyrosine kinase AXL at tyrosine 779 within its intracellular kinase domain. Upon ligand binding (e.g., Gas6 or HGF), AXL dimerizes and undergoes trans-autophosphorylation, generating phospho-Tyr779 that serves as a docking site for the p85 regulatory subunit of PI3K, thereby activating the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway and promoting cell survival, migration, and invasion.
