  WB analysis using 84839-1-RR (same clone as 84839-1-PBS)

  Non-treated and EGF treated A431 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 84839-1-RR (Phospho-EGFR (Tyr869) antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and re-blotted with Lamin B1 (66095-1-Ig) antibody as a loading control. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84839-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

• 

  FC experiment of A431 using 84839-1-RR (same clone as 84839-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 EGF treated A431 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Phospho-EGFR (Tyr869) Recombinant Antibody (84839-1-RR, Clone:241785G5) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control Recombinant Antibody (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with 90% MeOH. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84839-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a member of the receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) family and plays a critical role in a wide variety of cellular functions, including proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. After EGFR homodimerization with extracellular ligands such as epidermal growth factor (EGF), the intracellular tyrosine kinase domain is activated and autophosphorylates multiple tyrosine residues in the C‐terminal tail domain. (PMID: 23822636) This antibody recognizes EGFR phosphorylation at tyrosine 869, which is also widely described as the tyrosine 845 site.
