  WB analysis of C2C12 using 85141-5-RR (same clone as 85141-5-PBS)

  Non-treated C2C12 cells and Insulin treated C2C12 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 85141-5-RR (Phospho-NDRG1 (Thr346) antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and re-blotted with Alpha Tubulin (66031-1-Ig) antibody as a loading control. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 85141-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

N-Myc Downstream Regulated 1 (NDRG1) is a member of the N-myc down-regulated gene family which belongs to the alpha/beta hydrolase superfamily. The phosphorylation of NDRG1 (on Thr346) showed the greatest statistically significant increase in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) compared with noncancerous renal tissue. Further study showed the phosphorylation of NDRG1 (Thr346) in ccRCC cells was maintained by RICTOR and mTOR in complex 2. (PMID: 37298315)
