  WB analysis of pig liver using 68604-1-Ig (same clone as 68604-1-PBS)

  pig liver tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 68604-1-Ig (RSAD2 antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 68604-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 68604-1-Ig (RSAD2 antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and reblotted with HRP-conjugated GAPDH Monoclonal antibody (HRP-60004) as loading control. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 68604-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

RSAD2 (radical S-adenosyl methionine domain-containing protein 2), also known as CIG5 (cytomegalovirus-induced gene 5 protein), vig1, viperin or CIG33, displays antiviral effect against HIV-1 virus, hepatitis C virus, human cytomegalovirus, and aphaviruses. Expression of the protein can be induced by interferon.
