  WB analysis using 15636-1-AP (same clone as 15636-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 15636-1-AP (RTN4IP1 antibody) at dilution of 1:4000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 15636-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IF Staining of HepG2 using 15636-1-AP (same clone as 15636-1-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed HepG2 cells using RTN4IP1 antibody (15636-1-AP) at dilution of 1:100 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 15636-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

RTN4IP1 (Reticulon-4-interacting protein 1, mitochondrial), also known as NIMP. It colocalizes with the endoplasmic reticulum HSPA5 at spots corresponding to contacts with mitochondria (PMID: 26593267), which is widely expressed in mitochondria-enriched tissues. Found in heart, muscle, kidney, liver, brain and placenta (PMID: 12067236). The protein plays a role in the regulation of retinal ganglion cell (RGC) neurite outgrowth, and hence in the development of the inner retina and optic nerve. Appears to be a potent inhibitor of regeneration following spinal cord injury. The protein has three isoforms with molecular weights of 43 kDa, 32 kDa and 24 kDa respectively.
