  WB analysis of serum from mouse injected with bacteria using 13192-1-AP

  serum from mouse injected with bacteria were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 13192-1-AP (SAA2 Antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  IHC staining of mouse liver using 13192-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse liver tissue slide using 13192-1-AP (SAA antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

Informations générales

Human SAA proteins are a group of apolipoproteins mainly found in the high density lipoprotein (HDL) portion of plasma. The serum amyloid A (SAA) protein is an acute phase apolipoprotein reactant produced mainly by hepatocytes and under the regulation of inflammatory cytokines(PMID: 12011456). Reactive, secondary amyloidosis is characterized by the extracellular accumulation in various tissues of the SAA2 protein(PMID: 1463770). This antibody can recognize SAA1 and SAA2.
