  WB analysis using 84742-1-RR (same clone as 84742-1-PBS)

  mouse adipose tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 84742-1-RR (SC4MOL antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84742-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

SC4MOL(sterol C4-methyl oxidase-like), an intermediate enzyme in the cholesterol biosynthetic pathway, was included in the library based on its representation in a high confidence GEO transcriptional profiling dataset as a transcript that rapidly undergoes significant expression change in response to stimulation or inhibition of EGFR. Among the validated hits that increased cell killing by common EGFR antagonists, SC4MOL was consistently one of the most effective modulators. (PMID: 23125191)
