  WB analysis using 82284-1-RR (same clone as 82284-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 82284-1-RR (SEPT4 antibody) at dilution of 1:20000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 82284-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

Spetin 4 is a member of the septin family of nucleotide binding proteins, originally described in yeast as cell division cycle regulatory proteins. Spetin 4 was widely expressed in brain and heart, also expressed in colorectal cancers and malignant melanomas. This protein has been implicated in diverse cellular functions, including cytokinesis, apoptosis, and tumor suppression(PMID:15737931). There are several isoforms of SEPTIN4, four of which were detected in the mouse brain and mouse cerebellum, 54 kDa, 52 kDa, 48 kDa and 44 kDa respectively(PMID: 23938054; PMID: 26657011).
