  IHC staining of human rectal cancer using 84636-1-RR (same clone as 84636-1-PBS)

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human rectal cancer tissue slide using 84636-1-RR (TERT antibody) at dilution of 1:500 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84636-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed MCF-7 cells using TERT antibody (84636-1-RR, Clone: 241074H2 ) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2), CL594-Phalloidin (red).   FC experiment of HeLa using 84636-1-RR (same clone as 84636-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug TERT Recombinant antibody (84636-1-RR, Clone:241074H2) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control Recombinant Antibody (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84636-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

Telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) is a catalytic subunit of telomerase. TERT plays a key role in cancer formation, ensuring chromosomal stability by maintaining telomere length, and allowing cells to avert senescence. It constitutes a limiting factor for formation of the telomerase complex in cancer cells. TERT is one of two major components of the larger telomerase complex, which extends telomeres by adding specific short repetitive DNA sequences. Telomerase is a ribonucleoprotein enzyme essential for the replication of chromosome termini in most eukaryotes. Active in progenitor and cancer cells. Inactive, or very low activity, in normal somatic cells.
