  IF Staining of HepG2 using 82937-1-RR (same clone as 82937-1-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed HepG2 cells using KAT5 antibody (82937-1-RR, Clone: 230181D5 ) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 82937-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of HCT 116 using 82937-1-RR (same clone as 82937-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 HCT 116 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human KAT5 (82937-1-RR, Clone:230181D5) and APC-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug rabbit IgG isotype control (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with True-Nuclear Transcription Factor Buffer Set. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 82937-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 82937-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 82937-1-RR against Human TIP60/KAT5 were performed. The affinity constant is below 1 pM.

Informations générales

KAT5, also named as The histone acetyltransferase (HAT) Tat interactive protein 60 kD belongs to the MYST protein family that contains atypical zinc finger and histone acetyltransferase domains. Also, KAT5 contains a chromodomain. KAT5 is a catalytic subunit of the NuA4 histone acetyltransferase complex. The NuA4 HAT complex plays a role in transcriptional activation of select genes mainly by acetylation of nucleosomal histone H4 and H2A, which influence nucleosome-DNA interaction and promotes interaction of the modified histones with other proteins that could regulate transcription positively. This complex also involves in the activation of transcriptional programs associated with oncogene and proto-oncogene mediated growth induction, tumor suppressor mediated growth arrest and replicative senescence, DNA repair and apoptosis.
