  WB analysis using 86699-1-RR (same clone as 86699-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 86699-1-RR (UGP2 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 86699-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IF Staining of HepG2 using 86699-1-RR (same clone as 86699-1-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Ethanol) fixed HepG2 cells using UGP2 antibody (86699-1-RR, Clone: 251615C1 ) at dilution of 1:600 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 86699-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

• 

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 86699-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 86699-1-RR against Human UGP2 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.979 nM.

UDP-glucose pyrophosphorylase 2 (UGP2, synonyms: UDPG, UGPP2, UDPGP2, Phc379)is an important intermediary in mammalian carbohydrate interconversions. It transfers a glucose moiety from glucose-1-phosphate to MgUTP and forms UDP-glucose and MgPPi. In liver and muscle tissue, UDP-glucose is a direct precursor of glycogen; in lactating mammary gland it is converted to UDP-galactose which is then converted to lactose. So far two isoforms are encoded by two transcript variants have been found.
