  FC experiment of Transfected HEK-293T using 98418-2-RR (same clone as 98418-2-PBS)

  1x10^6 HEK-293T cells or VEGFR1/Flt-1 transfected HEK-293T cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Rat VEGFR1/Flt-1 Rabbit RecAb (98418-2-RR, Clone:242311D5) and Multi-rAb CoraLite ® Plus 647-Goat Anti-Rabbit Recombinant Secondary Antibody (H+L) (RGAR005). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98418-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98418-2-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98418-2-RR against Rat VEGFR1/Flt-1 were performed. The affinity constant is below 1 pM.

Informations générales

Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-1 (VEGFR-1, FLT-1) is a receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the VEGFR family. VEGF is a key regulator of physiological angiogenesis and has also been implicated in pathological angiogenesis associated with tumors, intraocular neovascular disorders, and other conditions. The biological effects of VEGF are mediated by VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2. Both the two receptors have seven immunoglobulin-like repeats in the extracellular domain, a single transmembrane region and a tyrosine kinase domain. VEGFR-1 binds VEGFA, PIGF, and VEGFB, and plays an essential role in the development of embryonic vasculature, the regulation of angiogenesis, cell survival, cell migration, macrophage function, chemotaxis, and cancer cell invasion.
