  WB analysis using 19493-1-AP (same clone as 19493-1-PBS)

  MCF-7 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 19493-1-AP (VLDLR antibody) at dilution of 1:800 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 19493-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IF Staining of HeLa using 19493-1-AP (same clone as 19493-1-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Ethanol) fixed HeLa cells using VLDLR antibody (19493-1-AP) at dilution of 1:200 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 19493-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

VLDLR binds VLDL and transports it into cells by endocytosis. In order to be internalized, the receptor-ligand complexes must first cluster into clathrin-coated pits. VLDLR binding to Reelin induces tyrosine phosphorylation of Dab1 and modulation of Tau phosphorylation (cytoplasmic domain of low-density lipoprotein receptor). For glycosylated, the MW of VLDLR migrates to ~160kd.
