Informations générales

ZNF653, also named ZIP67, belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. ZNF653 is a transcriptional repressor, which may repress NR5A1, PPARG, NR1H3, NR4A2, ESR1, and NR3C1 transcriptional activity. ZNF653 is highly expressed in testis, cerebellum, temporal lobe, hippocampus and adrenal gland, and moderately expressed in spleen, uterus, thymus, pancreas, kidney, stomach and rectum. The calculated molecular weight of ZNF653 is 67 kDa.
