  IF Staining of HeLa using CL488-11200

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed HeLa cells using CoraLite® Plus 488 BAP31 antibody (CL488-11200) at dilution of 1:200, CL594-Phalloidin (red).

• 

  FC experiment of HeLa using CL488-11200

  1X10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Anti-Human BAP31 (CL488-11200) (red) or 0.4 ug isotype control (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

BAP31 is a chaperone protein that is abundant in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). BAP31 plays a role in the export of secreted proteins in the ER, the recognition of abnormally folded protein and their targeting to the ER associated-degradation (ERAD). It also serves as a cargo receptor for the export of transmembrane proteins. BAP31 may be involved in apoptosis.
