  WB analysis using 84944-4-RR

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 84944-4-RR (BID antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  FC experiment of HeLa using 84944-4-RR

  1x10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug BID Recombinant antibody (84944-4-RR, Clone:242460F1) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

• 

  FC experiment of MCF-7 using 84944-4-RR

  1x10^6 MCF-7 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug BID Recombinant antibody (84944-4-RR, Clone:242460F1) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue). BID, also named as p22 BID, can be cleaved into p11 BID, p13 BID and p15 BID. It is pro-apoptotic molecules. The major proteolytic product p15 BID allows the release of cytochrome c. BID-L, BID-EL and BID-ES induce ICE-like proteases and apoptosis. BID-S does not induce apoptosis. BID counters the protective effect of Bcl-2. (PMID:14583606)
