  FC experiment of HeLa using CL488-30186

  1x10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.8 ug Coralite® Plus 488 Brpf1 Polyclonal Antibody (CL488-30186)(red), or 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488-conjugated Rabbit IgG control Rabbit PolyAb (CL488-30000) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

BRPF1 (bromodomain and PHD finger-containing protein 1) is also named as BR140. BRPF1 is scaffold subunit of various histone acetyltransferase (HAT) complexes, such as the MOZ/MORF and HBO1 complexes, which have a histone H3 acetyltransferase activity (PMID:16387653, PMID:24065767, PMID:27939640). BRPF1 plays a key role in HBO1 complex by directing KAT7/HBO1 specificity towards histone H3 'Lys-14' acetylation (H3K14ac) (PMID:24065767). And BRPF1 positively regulates the transcription of RUNX1 and RUNX2 (PMID:18794358).
