  WB analysis using 83550-4-RR

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83550-4-RR (Chemerin antibody) at dilution of 1:8000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  FC experiment of C57BL/6 mouse liver cells using 83550-4-RR

  1x10^6 C57BL/6 mouse liver cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Chemerin Recombinant antibody (83550-4-RR, Clone:240355A12) and PE-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83550-4-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83550-4-RR against Mouse Chemerin were performed. The affinity constant is 3.76 nM.

Chemerin, also named as TIG2 and RARRES2, is adipocyte-secreted protein (adipokine) that regulates adipogenesis, metabolism and inflammation through activation of the chemokine-like receptor 1 (CMKLR1). Its other ligands include G protein-coupled receptor 1 (GPR1) and chemokine receptor-like 2 (CCRL2). It positively regulates adipocyte differentiation, modulates the expression of adipocyte genes involved in lipid and glucose metabolism and might play a role in angiogenesis, a process essential for the expansion of white adipose tissue. RARRES2 have both pro- and anti-inflammatory properties depending on the modality of enzymatic cleavage by different classes of proteases. The MW of Chemerin is 14-19 kDa.
