  1X10^6 SH-SY5Y cells were stained with 0.2ug mGluR1 antibody (19955-1-AP, red) and control antibody (blue). Fixed with 4% PFA blocked with 3% BSA (30 min). Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) with dilution 1:1500.

• Erfolgreiche Detektion in IHC: Maushirngewebe; Hinweis: Antigendemaskierung mit TE-Puffer pH 9,0 empfohlen. (*) Wahlweise kann die Antigendemaskierung auch mit Citratpuffer pH 6,0 erfolgen.

Hintergrundinformationen

GRM1, also named as GPRC1A and MGLUR1, belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 3 family. GRM1 is a receptor for glutamate. The activity of GRM1 is mediated by a G-protein that activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. It may participate in the central action of glutamate in the CNS, such as long-term potentiation in the hippocampus and long-term depression in the cerebellum. The antibody can recognize isoform1 and isoform2 of GRM1.
