• 

  IF Staining of HepG2 using CL488-11587

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed HepG2 cells using CoraLite® Plus 488 GRP78/BIP antibody (CL488-11587) at dilution of 1:100. DAPI (blue).

• 

  FC experiment of HeLa using CL488-11587

  1X10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Anti-Human GRP78/BIP (CL488-11587) (red), or 0.4 ug Control Antibody. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

GRP78 (HSPA5), also referred to as 'immunoglobulin heavy chain-binding protein' (BiP), is a member of the heat-shock protein-70 (HSP70) family and is involved in the folding and assembly of proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER).It is a constitutively expressed resident protein of the ER in all eukaryotic cells. Recently it has been reported that GRP78 is associated with apoptosis or inhibition of cancer cell growth. 11587-1-AP antibody recognizes one or two bands with MW 70-78 kDa for the signal peptide of GRP78 protein can be finally cleaved.
