  FC experiment of HeLa using 82907-1-RR

  1x10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug IL-18 Recombinant antibody (82907-1-RR, Clone:1H14) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 82907-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 82907-1-RR against Human IL-18 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.769 nM.

Hintergrundinformationen

IL-18 is a proinflammatory cytokine involved in the development of Th1 cells and in immune response. It can stimulate the NK cells and certain T cells to release IFN gamma which plays an important role in activating the macrophages or other cells. IL-18 has been demonstrated to have the potential to enhance Fas ligand-mediated cytotoxicity, which is increased in PE and regulates placental apoptosis. IL-18 is synthesized as a 22 kDa precursor and then cleaved into a biologically activate 18 kDa form.
