  WB analysis of mouse skeletal muscle using 11936-1-AP

  mouse skeletal muscle tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 11936-1-AP (Beta Sarcoglycan antibody) at dilution of 1:3000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  IHC staining of human colon using 11936-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human colon tissue slide using 11936-1-AP (Beta Sarcoglycan antibody) at dilution of 1:500 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

The antibody appears to work for the most part, as bands of the expected size are present in most of the positive samples. However, there are also numerous nonspecific bands of varying sizes. Optimization is needed.

I have loaded 50 and 100ug of protein in each of the lanes and the samples are from mouse heart and skeletal muscle tissues. I don't see expected bands in all the samples and most of the bands are non specific.
