SH3GL3 is a novel member of SH3-containing family that has a src-homology-3 domain (SH3) at the C-terminus and drives protein-protein interactions through binding to proline-rich ligands. SH3GL3 is selectively expressed in brain and testis, and plays important role in signal transduction and regulation of synaptic vesicles.
