  IF Staining of SH-SY5Y using 82925-3-RR (same clone as 82925-3-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed SH-SY5Y cells using STMN2 antibody (82925-3-RR, Clone: 230110G10 ) at dilution of 1:200 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 82925-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  1x10^6 SH-SY5Y cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug STMN2 Recombinant antibody (82925-3-RR, Clone:230110G10) and APC-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 82925-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  1x10^6 SH-SY5Y cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug STMN2 Recombinant antibody, PBS Only (82925-3-PBS, Clone:230110G10) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

Hintergrundinformationen

Stathmin-2 (encoded by STMN2), a member of the stathmin family of proteins, encodes a phosphoprotein that has an important role in microtubule dynamics. The STMN2 protein promotes microtubule dynamics in axonal growth cones , and is thought to play an important role in neurite outgrowth. STMN2 protein is localized in both Golgi and cytosolic compartments. Its expression appears modulated in osteoblasts by nerve growth factor, dexamethasone or RhoA kinase inhibitor Y-27632 which are known effectors of osteogenesis. (PMID: 33841129, PMID: 18611392)
